A Magical Summer is available for purchase! Please see our new book store for more information.
We are not able to be in a paying market at this time, however publishing a short work in an ezine or an Anthology is excellent exposure and resume credit. When possible, I do coupon discounts for those who have contributed to an anthology.
Quick note; please do follow the guidelines for submissions. I have a limited amount of time and can not check out everyone's sites so they do not have to follow the guidelines to submit. I do appreciate your respect in this matter. I will not respond to anything sent within an attachment.
Our guidelines will be subject to change. We are registered with Ralan and Duotrope and thus, when you make a submission, it can not be "revoked" or taken back once you have signed the contract.
Genre's/Subjects we are looking for include but are not limited to; Horror, Fiction, Fantasy; Romance, Paranormal Romance, and Art Work. When in doubt, email and ask.
What we will not accept is any story, experience, or poem that implies that paganism is evil. We also will not accept anything that bashes any other religion or non. However, stories that have magick gone awry is acceptable as well, as long as the magic in the first place, isn't considered an evil act.
Regarding the subject of rights. We will send a little contract explaining that Pagan Imagination and it's owner/creator Kerry Morgan have permission to publish and thus reserve first time electronic rights to your short or poem for the month it is featured. After said month, the first electronic publication rights have been given to PI but you are then free to submit elsewhere as a reprint. I do reserve the right to assume that if you have submit your work to me, you are allowing me permission to publish it, or you wouldn't have sent it, but we will also use the small contract.
Electronic submissions are preferred, inside the body of the email. Please put a short bio at the top, with anything you would like to promote (if you have a book or story coming out elsewhere). Please put the genre or subject of your submission next to its title. Please use Times Roman Font at 12 pt. single spaced. Art may be attached. Please scroll down for notes on art work. Please put FRONT PAGE submission in the body of your email if you are submitting Art work for the Front Page of the Ezine.
Multiple submissions accepted in separate emails.
